Applications2-Acetylpyridine-13C2 is a labelled analogue of 2-Acetylpyridine (A187595), an aroma and flavour compound present in foods. 2-Acetylpyridine-13C2 is also an intermediate in synthesizing 2-Acetyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine-13C2 Hydrochloride (A188502), which is a labelled 2-Acetyl-3,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridine (A188500), the most important bread flavor component.
