Steve Douglas, PhD
Director of Chemistry
Steve completed his doctorate in chemistry from the University of Toronto. Having over a decade of lab experience and several patents to his name, Dr. Douglas joined TRC in 2000 as the Laboratory/Technical Resource Manager. Over the years, Dr. Douglas has evolved his role to include all aspects of Research & Development and project planning within TRC as the Director of Chemistry.

 

Andrew Corbett, PhD
Director of Laboratory Operations
Andrew received his Doctor of Philosophy in organic chemistry from McGill University. With a strong passion for chemistry, Dr. Corbett joined TRC in 2005 as the Business Development/New Product Development Manager, responsible for overseeing the development of custom synthesis projects. Over time, his role has evolved to that of the Director of Lab Operations, responsible for operational leadership of the production organization at both TRC locations.

Philip Chan, PhD
Head of Quality Assurance
Philip received his doctorate in chemistry from the University of Waterloo. Upon completion of two post-doctoral programs, he further developed his research and lab experience, eventually joining TRC as the Head of Quality Assurance and Technical Services in 2008.

 

John Bradley
Customer Service Manager
John received his BSc in chemistry from the St. Francis Xavier University. Upon completion, he worked as a synthetic organic chemist and eventually moved into quality control.  Later, he worked in international sales and marketing, product management and project management.  He joined TRC in 2006 as the Customer Service Manager utilizing his years of experience.

 

Andrew Karagias
Facilities Manager
Andrew joined TRC shortly after graduating from the University of Waterloo in 1995. As an experienced veteran in the TRC community, Andrew has helped develop almost every department at TRC and is an integral part of the organization. As the Operations Manager, he currently oversees all TRC facilities as well as the Regulatory Affairs department.
