Andrew Corbett, PhD
Director of Chemistry

Andrew joined TRC in 2005 and is currently the chemist in Charge of our synthesis projects for both R&D as well of production. Andrew has over 15 years industrial experience with TRC and has a deep understanding of organic chemistry as well as the building of synthetic chemistry capability. Andrew has managed New Product Development and was the Director of Lab Operations before taking on his current position in 2017. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic) from McGill University (Montreal), received his B.Sc. from Saint Mary’s University (Halifax) and was a post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Université de Sherbrooke, Quebec.

Jose Rodezno
Director of Production Operations

Jose received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining TRC in 2018, Jose lead a long career in the pharmaceutical industry at both Teva and Patheon. Some of his key areas of expertise include process development and engineering, project leadership, and running technical operations.

Andrew Karagias
Director Project Management Office

Andrew received his B.Sc. Hons. from the University of Waterloo in 1995 and joined TRC shortly after graduation.  Over his 25 years at TRC has worn many hats as Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Regulatory AQPIC and Responsible person, and worked in or managed the following groups, IT, logistics, Inventory control, Purchasing.  Andrew is now responsible for executing and planning current TRC Capital projects for future growth under LGC.

Steve P. Douglas, PhD
Director of Chemistry Planning

Steve completed his doctorate in chemistry from the University of Toronto. Having over a decade of lab experience and several patents to his name, Dr. Douglas joined TRC in 2000 as the Laboratory/Technical Resource Manager. Over the years, Dr. Douglas has evolved his role to include all aspects of Research & Development and project planning within TRC as the Director of Chemistry Planning.

Luciano Masella, P. Eng.
Director of Shared Services

Luc has a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, and is Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Executive Leader. He has over 30 years of experience in Process Engineering, Production and Plant Management, Project Management, and Continuous Improvement. His manufacturing experience is from various industries including Food, Electrical, and Durable Goods. He joined TRC in 2019, and is responsible for EHS, Facilities and Maintenance, and Supply Chain Order Assembly.

Thomas Lau
Director of Quality

Thomas joined TRC in 2020 in the quality role after having spent over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. His career began in the laboratory environment and progressed to senior positions all focused on quality operations with oversight of quality control, quality assurance, and compliance.

Damian Chung, P. Eng. 
Director of Supply Chain

Damian received his BaSc in chemical engineering from the University of Waterloo and has over 20 years of experience in various process industries such as pulp and paper, nuclear, mining, chemical and refining. He has lead teams ranging in scope from engineering, customer service, IT, marketing, quality and warehouse distribution and has managed teams as large as 250 employees.

Rathika Jayasinghe
Director of Human Resources

Rathika joins TRC as Director, Human Resources with over 15 years of experience as a Global and National Strategic HR Leader, with growing companies and spearheading numerous transformations and has been instrumental in managing HR strategy with mergers and acquisitions. Her career also highlights operations management experience in Southeast Asia and Middle East with multi-nationals. Rathika has gained her CHRP and CHRL designations and is currently a CHRE candidate.

John Bradley
Customer Service Manager

John received his BSc in chemistry from the St. Francis Xavier University. Upon completion, he worked as a synthetic organic chemist and eventually moved into quality control.  Later, he worked in international sales and marketing, product management and project management.  He joined TRC in 2006 as the Customer Service Manager utilizing his years of experience.

Diana Nwokedi
Controller

Before being recently appointed as the Controller at TRC, Diana held senior positions in global Oil & Gas, manufacturing and technology organizations building strong finance teams and leading the finance functions. Diana began her career at a Big 4 Audit Company and brings over 10 years of solid experience in core accounting and financial management. She currently manages the Finance teams at TRC and C/D/N Isotopes
